Repurpose a Tube Sock as a Playful Wire Cozy

071409_tf_cordsock1.jpgPerfect in a kid's bedroom, a dedicated playroom, a living room that's turned into a playroom or just hiding behind the TV of one very playful adult, this idea makes a cord wrangler out of an unexpected find—a tube sock.

So cheap and easy, the kids could be the ones to make and use it...

Simply take a clean tube sock or a colorful dress sock and carefully slice off the toe. You should be left with a long and slightly elastic tube shaped piece of fabric.

Unplug the offending cords, string them through the former sock and then plug them back in. Take any extra wire slack and coil it up inside the sock. you're left with a super bright and kitschy cord cozy.

Great idea!!!

Could I get the sites' attorneys information so when my house burns down we know who to contact?

WoW! can't wait to get my kids involved, nothing like letting children play with electrical cables. Might get my 2 year old to un plug them all and then use a flammable tube sock to tie them back together, such a safe idea!
