The Doable To-Do List?

2007-06-21-checkoff.jpg

Does a doable to-do list exist? Lifehacker features a tutorial on building a doable to-do list and even calls it an art. We've asked you before about how you keep track of your to-do lists, but this time we want to know more about what's on those lists.

We agree about the fact that it can be an art form, but we want to hear from you...check out their suggestions and let us know, do you think they'd work for you? Do you have a good system to help you already in place? Is there even such a thing as a doable to-do list, or will it always haunt us?

It does make some very good points: at work, for repetitive multiple steps tasks, we use what we call a work-flow sheet. We check off steps as they are performed and it keeps errors down. At home, I prefer a time-line, especially in preparation for big events, such as Xmas parties or family reunions. I write down when I have to complete a certain task, broken down in steps.
