Ambient Forecasting Umbrella

2007_11_09 ambient-umbrella.jpg
We live in the Pacific Northwest. That means it rains...a lot. Yet for some reason we still find ourselves trying to leave our umbrella at home if there is any chance we won't need it. This always tends to be the wrong decision. Enter the Ambient Forecasting umbrella.

Much like the energy orb, this umbrella has a built in wireless receiver that gathers information from Accuweather.com. A flashing blue LED means a chance of rain or snow. The faster the flashing the higher the probability. The slower the flashing the lower the probability.
