
Look ma, no hands! This device looks to be the ultimate in multi-tasking. No more jumping from keyboard to mouse when you've got the FOOTIME Foot Mouse.
With a slipper-like device for your right foot and a foot pad to click with for your left, you could surf the web without lifting a finger. Marketed for the intensive computer user or carpal tunnel sufferer, the foot mouse has an equally intense price tag of $200. Which leaves us wondering, is this pure novelty or would mousing with our feet really be a more efficient (or less painful) means of using our computer. What do you think of this idea, brilliant or bogus?




How does the right foot thing work? Does it slide around on the floor the same way a regular desktop mouse does? What if you're on carpeting? Does it come with some special pad? I guess this would be useful for people who are disabled and can't use their hands very well, but other than that I see it as being more of a pain than anything else...

What I'm holding out for is a device that keeps the mouse in your hand (better control), but moves the clicking functions to the feet. It's the clicking that pains me...
