iriver Goes Completely Minimal with New Flash Drives

iriver_domino.jpgThere's nothing like impressing your friends by showing off how ultra-slim and ultra-awesome your new key chain flash drive is. With the new line of iriver Domino flash drives, they're no exception. C'mon, they even removed the word "GB," leaving just a number for your friends to watch in envy and awe.

Available in 2GB and 4GB varieties, in all sorts of colors; white, silver, black, chocolate, pink and coral pink. Unfortunately, there's no United States release just yet, but major retailers in Korea will be selling these drives for $21 (2GB) and $34 (4GB).

I had a flash drive like this years ago, looked identical in form. Granted it was only 128mb because flash drives were new and expensive, I think I paid $40 for it.

My Sandisk Micro (old school) is about the same size too. Though $34 for a 4GB sounds like a good deal to me!

If my friends were impressed by the size of my flash drive, I'd be getting new friends. :-p

The drive is so plain that it looks pretty much like a plastic chip. One man's minimalism is another woman's boring and easy to lose.

This looks similar to the Sony Micro Vault Tiny that's been out for a while.

Had a 1 gb version for a while. It was "impressive" to people, but it was so small that I was always afraid I'd lose it or it would get damaged. I actually chose a SanDisk Cruzer Micro when I upgraded to 4 gb. It's bigger, but not too big. It has a retractable USB thing and it seems less fragile since the case is not directly against the components.
