It's About Time Clock

2007-09-28its_about_time.jpgHow do you tell time? If we're talking about time, we usually aren't precise and British designer, Laurence Willmott has turned that phenomenon into a clock. His design, "It's About Time" reports time in eight increments from "nearly" to "just gone", as well as usual quarters and halves.
Would it work or would it drive you crazy?

We're not so sure, especially with dialect translations, we've never heard the phrase "just gone twelve." Even here in the US, we think we'd need some variation to account for the different regions. To read more about this design, and to see others from InsightOutSight check out their website.

ooh i like it a lot. but I'm one of those people who needs an analog clock to keep me in perspective. Digital displays do nothing for my punctuality.

I love it, and I really like the British phrases. But then I'm an Anglophile since birth.
