LaCie USB Drive "Keys" Camouflage On Keyrings

031009_tf_keydrives_1.jpgSome people like to wear their geek flags high, like that guy at work who wears his USB drive on a lanyard around his neck 24/7 (well, you only see him at the office, but you expect that he's the type to wear it to the grocery store in case of some portable-memory emergency). Others would rather enjoy the finest gadgets while still keeping up an aura of subtlety and sophistication. For those people, purple plastic drives are thrown out in favor of sleek metallic key-shaped USB drives like these from LaCie...

031009_tf_keydrives_2.JPGThe two models, iamaKey and itsaKey, both come in 4GB and 8GB models. They're each a bit different in price and form—one is a traditional deadbolt style key shape and the other is a bit more Jetsons-chic—but we're figuring they essentially do the same thing like, ya know, store digital files. Just a hunch.

Compatible with both Mac and PC, get iamaKey here ($17.99/4GB or $27.99/8GB) or itsaKey here ($14.99/4GB or $23.99/8GB) at LaCie.

Perfect! I've been moving a lot of data around lately and finally have succumb to the Thumb Drive on the key ring technique.

And while it is a subtle tiny retractable drive it still sticks out like a sore thumb. However LaCie has pulled through here and at a great price as well.

Finally! I was so tired of the flash drives shaped like bacon or pieces of fruit. This is cool and has character.

I need this so badly. I am always forgetting homework on my work computer then cant do it at home or take it to school....this has saved me.. Im not sure if I will opt for the scratch and water resistant more expensive model or not yet.
