Privacy Scarf

2007_08_06 scarfdork.jpg

A not so subtle way of saying do not disturb. Designed by grad student Joe Malia, this looks like an extremely warm and stuffy way of making sure no one sees what is on your screen. If you ask us, a nice quiet corner in a cafe would provide enough privacy for us, not to mention the ability to have a cup of coffee while surfing the web, but we would definitely do a double take if we were to see someone sitting on a park bench looking like this.

Funny till someone snatches your gadget and you can't see to chase 'em. Hilarious, even.

That has to be some sort of joke.
If a person wanted THAT much privacy maybe they could go back to their cave or walk in closet?
On another note, it seems a tad ironic that a person wants privacy but goes to a cafe where there are people doing things. I've never understood that.
