Inspiration: Deltalab Recording Sutdio

DeltaLab Recording Studios, "the world's first designer recording studio", was founded in 2001 by 19 year old Thomas Troelsen and has recorded the likes of Bryan Adams. In 2007, they upgraded and refurbished their Denmark studio to what can be viewed here ...

Billing themselves as the "world's first designer recording studio and the premiere studios for artists seeking both a singular, creative experience and comfortable, professional environs for their recording, production, and mixing needs," Deltalab boasts the largest collection of analog and vintage equipment in Scandinavia, in addition to the latest, modern equipment for full audio production.

The newly rebuilt studio opened in 2007 complete with new, stylistic aesthetic, including 24.6 feet ceilings with broad panel skylights.

I've been in too many recording studios in black, white, and red. I know red is a color that's supposed to get creative juices flowing, but it's just too much.

In my boyfriends industrial loft style recording studio I picked neutral gray and and brown for the main walls with loud accent walls. We were on a tight budget, so decor wise we could only spend a couple hundred. I think it came out well enough though.

We're moving to LA and building a professional studio there in about 6 months. That one will probably have either a vintage mens smoking room vibe or mid century modern.

That place just looks cold and uncreative.

It kind of looks like a McDonalds.
