1978 Movie, Coma, Highlights Some of the 70s Eyepopping Design

072108_sz_comapatients.jpgLast night we watched the Michael Douglas 1978 thriller, Coma. The movie is about a hospital conspiracy, in which the chief of surgery is putting healthy young patients into comas in order to harvest their organs for sale on the black market. Being the 70s, there's some great set design within the film. Some a little far out, like the interior of the Jefferson Institute's coma warehouse (above), while others have some cool accessories we wish we could get now... 072108_sz_comaroll.jpg
