An Entertainment Media Filled Home in Washington D.C.

While dropping in on one of our favourite design sites, Plastolux, we noted these great interior shots of a Washington DC residence. The rest of the home designed by Hugh Newell Jacobsen is amazing, as it should be, for the asking price of $1.4 million. But what's best of the home is how it is currently furnished, with an incredible collection of entertainment media, art (especially the vintage glass work) and books.

Note, the owner has used dark, low laying furniture throughout the home entertainment room, avoiding a tech-cluttered look despite an abundance of components (are those dual subs?). Match your home media cabinets with your components and avoid the single guy, tech mess look, as it blends everything into a cohesive unit.
