Go Black! Darkstar Computing By Dimo Trifonov

041409_an_darkstar.jpgWhile some may argue against using the generic IKEA pieces for their home office, we definitely see nothing wrong with it, and neither does Dimo Trifonov who works out of his home office for Studio Nufabric in Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria. Using a simple scheme of black on black, paired with hints of creme of white on the chair, lamp, and rug, Dimo creates a controlled environment that feels simple, yet at the same time, focused and professional.

041409_an_darkstar2.jpgA closer look highlights the beauty of having a monitor at (what we call) the "perfect angle." What is the perfect angle you ask? Well, it's when you have a monitor that's placed away from direct outside light reflections, but close enough to a window that allows for ample natural light. We'd really love to see a different angle of the room itself, but the perfection of the shot already has us in tears, so who's to complain? Oh, and who said you can't make IKEA look good?
