Kyle over at AT Boston found a great idea that we find absolutely amazing; a way to effective "humanize" an extra large television in a middle of a serene space - by means of a custom made easel.

From AT reader Karandash, comes a very similar seems accomplishment. A few markers and paint gives it a vintage, used feel (since it was purchased new).
A similar idea can be found on West Elm's student inspired apartment event.
What do you guys think? Hot stuff, this art-television Frankenstein mashup idea?

i LOVE it. i think done right it's a really cool way to contrast the cold, sleek look of a flatscreen to fit into a warmer surrounding. very cool.
