Oh binder clips, what can't you do? We loved this clip use for cord control, but this dock usage is a great idea too. Sure it looks a little like your iPod is on a pair of stilts. But you can't argue that a binder clip is out of place on your desk.
What creative use have you invented for your binder clips?
They make great hair clips... especially when pulling a late night in the office, with not a hair elastic in sight! (ok - not exactly a design solution, but hey, it works)!

They're also great for resealing potato chip bags (or any similar bags containing food) so the roaches don't get at it. They also work well in keeping my curtains closed.

not for nothing but I wouldn't trust an 10 cent clip to hold my $200 ipod.

Sandwich a picture between two pieces of plexiglass (or real glass, or glass in front with something else in back...you get the idea...) and pinch each side with a clip. It's lovely. the top clip can also be used for hanging. Or put two on the bottom and stand it up. I love these clips!
