If the alarm puzzle clock is too aggressive a wake up tool, then perhaps the wonderful aroma of fresh brewed coffee would be more effective of getting you out of bed. Jules at Ikea Hacker seems to think so and has rigged up an espresso machine to work off an alarm clock. Granted you could achieve the same thing with a standard programmable coffee maker with built in timer.....but does it come in bent wood?
