NY Times: Roland Emmerich's Crazy Rooms

081208_an_rolland_emmerich2.jpgYou're probably wondering, "Who the heck is Roland Emmerich?" Well, if you've been hitting those box office hits since day one, you might recognize some of his works from Independence Day and 10,000BC. We'll admit the latter one was kind of a flop, but who cares? A peek at his living room television setup alone already makes us wonder if it was meant more for a gallery or a home...

081208_an_rolland_emmerich.jpgEverywhere you look, you see a little mix of zebras, old war-time art, and airplanes models littered all over the house. Some Asian fusion, too, if I'm not mistaken.

081208_an_rolland_emmerich3.jpgHowever, the craziest thing we found was his workspace. My goodness, where can you find anything in that chalkboard covered room? And what in the world is that thing on the floor by the table leg?

More photos and wackiness at NY Times.
