Kern iPhone Game

021709_tf_kerngame3.jpgIf you're the kind of guy who has the Word Clock as his screensaver, you're probably the guy they had in mind when designing Kern, a new iPhone game from the FORMation Alliance. It's kinda like Tetris for the typographic set. You're asked to line up a floating letter at the bottom of the screen with a slowly dropping word (convenietnly missing a letter). Of course, as you'd expect by the name 'Kern,' your spacing counts! Check out a larger-than-life demo video of the game under the jump...

021709_tf_kerngame4.jpgYou can get Kern from the iPhone app store for $1. Click here to open iTunes and check it out.

Get really good and screenshot your high score to upload it to the Kern high score Flickr group.

Apparently the look of the letters is more important than the accuracy of the words. They've used "it's" incorrectly in the instructions.
