SushiGuru is a $1.99 app which offers users over 200 listings of nigirizushi (fish ontop of pressed rice) and makizushi (rolls), complete with English and Japanese pronunciation. Another helpful feature for the sushi bar adventurer is the ability to leave notes with each listing so you can remember what you liked or disliked, places that served the best or worst offerings. There's also an updated ecological information and warnings from industry sources profile page so you can decide whether you're eating something especially unhealthy or endangered. To be frank, we like it mostly because we like to "window shop" the selection of sushi we're sure to eat after two more weeks of going without.
month long vegetarian eh? I started that I while ago and solely because of sushi I decided that pescatarian was the way to go =) good luck.
I love sushi so much, but most of the time it seems that korean people own the place.. weird right?
