Sticky-Fingers Office? Keep that iPod Under Lock

090808_tf_icage.jpgLast year at our Alma Mater, iPods were the largest theft item on campus, easily knocking laptops and bikes out of the top spot. If you know a similar spot where sticky fingers lurk around every corner, whether it's on campus, in your office or in your own house (sibling rivalries get heated, ya know?), check out these iPod classic and iPod Nano locks from MasterLock.

MasterLock’s iCage security system is a skin you slide your player into attached to an extendible security cord and combination lock. Wrap the cord around something sturdy and then set a three-digit combination on the padlock. When it's all locked-up, all of your player’s buttons and ports are still accessible, making it easy to tether to your desk while you rock and still have easy get-up-and-go-get-coffee-ability.

MasterLock’s iCage will be available online later this month, with cases available for the 4GB and 8GB iPod Nano. Locking cases for the 30GB, 60GB, 80GB and 160GB iPod classic are also available. Prices start at $14.

This is stupid. You don't need a lock for something that you can fit into your pocket.
