Steampunk has become all of the rage recently. A lot of modified PCs, cell phones and other items are turning up, mostly made by DIY enthusiasts. Datamancer has gone a step further. In an effort to make the traditional Steampunk keyboard more ergonomic, he's come up with this Steampunk version.
Datamancer's Incredible Ergonomic Steampunk Keyboard
Datamancer was busy recently making his ergonomic Steampunk keyboard. He used a very rare IBM Model M-15 split ergonomic keyboard as his base and modified it extensively to obtain the Datamancer Ergo, the ergonomic Steampunk keyboard.
Why is it people love Steampunk so much? Maybe because it infuses a bit of soul and art into soulless machines and computers. Needless to say that this keyboard looks simply amazing. The old fashion typewriter style push-buttons look pretty neat as well. I wonder how fast people can type on these... [via Make]
