Luxeed LED Keyboard

080508_ledkey_01.jpg If you think spending $1600 on an OLED keyboard is ridiculous, but love it's Disco Stu appeal, maybe the Luxeed Dynamic Pixel LED Keyboard is the right alternative for you.

Formerly only available in Korea, ThinkGeek has finally gotten the rights to import and sell this in the states...

080508_ledkey_02.jpg Each keyboard is lit up by 430 LEDs, all of which can be programmed via the included software. This is an interesting and cheaper alternative to other keyboards that light up on the market.

Here is a video of the keyboard in action:

080508_ledkey_03.jpg The keyboard is available in either black or white, and retails for $199.99. You'll have to spend an extra $34.99 if you want a numeric keypad, which doesn't light up. It's not an Optimus Maximus, but then again, the Optimus is $1600. You could by 9 Luxeed keyboards for that price!
