Moshi Celesta Keyboard

celesta04.jpg
I just upgraded to one of the Keira Knightly-thin Apple Keyboards yesterday, and so far I'm very impressed with the usability, comfort and build of the svelte unit. No problems transitioning typing on it, with adequate key spacing, and the keys themselves have a much more satisfying feel than the mushy-sticky Apple keyboard I've replaced (aka "The Clear Dust and Dirt Aquarium"). And best yet, my hands feel more ergonomically comfortable because of the low angle, despite my initial apprehension of transitioning to a more laptop feel to the keystrokes).

But Apple's keyboard isn't your only choice when it comes to slim profile aluminum framed typing tools. The Moshi Celesta is arguably as beautiful as the Apple version and sports many of the features of the newest Apple keyboard, including two USB 2.0 ports, support for OSX multi-media function key, works with Mac OSX, Windows and Linux, and unlike the Apple keyboard, adjustable angle setup (9 or 13 degrees). I'd love to get my hands on one soon for comparison purposes, but the unit is currently sold out, even at a notably steep $120. Anyone out there have one of these? [via Lord Percy review].

The polish towel is a nice touch and I love to give one of those a hands on try too.

That being said, the Apple keyboard is now my fav keyboard since those mechanical, individual switch keyboards back in the day. You'd have to be insane in the membrane to ask me to use a membrane keyboard again!
