We are huge fans of computing in the kitchen. Whether it's following online recipes or IMing with friends while stirring sauteed shallots, we tend to always have our laptop nearby. This causes some concern when things get hectic in the kitchen, which is why we're so into this computing bar built by Joanne Cannell Designs...
Sure the bar top was probably built with breakfast in mind, but it's obvious that Joanne thought of it as a multi-purpose spot as well -- isn't the kitchen the most popular place to hang anyway?
With nooks under the tabletop to store closed down laptops or books, we can totally imagine this being the spot for kids to do homework, while mom and pops cook up something scrumptious.

i like this....but is there a pullout for the keyboard? the ergonomics of this look....not good.
if this is just for laptops....what is supposed to go in the little cubby holes?

@mfpants, I'd say the laptop when not in use, but I'm sure you can cram a few chargers and wires in there as well, no?

Does anyone know where I could find those bar stools? Or something similar?
