Boynq's Pad2Go Compact Travel Mousepad

070609_tf_pad2go.JPGWhether your travels during Unplggd's travel month take you to Spain or just to your local Starbucks, there's no reason to leave the comforts of home behind. Just like you'd bring along your favorite pillow to make your bed-away-from-home as comfy as possible, make sure you don't get stuck cursing at an unresponsive tabletop by bringing this travel mousepad with you...

Boynq, one of our favorite manufacturers of cool tech acccesories (just check out the WakeUp and Swing USB Hub), want you to know that they have "finally a mouse pad that deserves to be called a 'wannahave.'"

The Pad2Go is basically a mousepad stored in a mechanical tube that keeps it rolled up tight when you need optimal space in your carry-on laptop bag.

When you decide it's time to start scrolling, just tug on the little handle and out slides the pad. into a full locked mousepad. When you're all done, press the side button and the pad will retract back into the tube.

Contact Boynq USA's retail disrtibutor to find out if the Pad2Go is sold near you.

Isn't a thin flat mousepad already an optimal shape? Just stick it anywhere you might put anything else flat. Like any papers you might be bringing. Or even just against your laptop...which I assume is flat.

Unless this thing does something else like acts as a USB hub...it's actually less useful than an actual mousepad.
