We're not promising audiophile quality by any means, but we're liking the faux bois wood grain of these heavy stock cardboard speakers for your computer or MP3 player for a wallet friendly $13. Would make a good gift or temporary/portable speaker for a friend (or more) who doesn't care if they can't hear the discrete highs and lows, but just want something cute and decor friendly (yeah, yeah, we know...but we've heard that very same description/request multiple times from non-tech friends asking for mini-speaker ideas)...
