Laptop Hideaway: Because You Don't Really Use Your Desk

120208_tf_laptophideaway1.jpgWe have a dedicated desk. It's a big brown parsons-style table with plenty of room for everything we could need to have nearby when paying bills, writing blogs and anything else it is that we do at our desk. But not two weeks after we bought it, we had moved our laptop workspace back to it's natural home: the couch. (We are notorious couch campers). Our laptop makes a home sitting on the right couch cushion, which is fine until somebody wants to sit there. A better solution? This laptop carry-all from Belkin...

120208_tf_laptophideaway2.jpgBelikn's Laptop Hideaway is made to sit on the floor next to your couch (or bed, chair, or desk) and keep your laptop protected, easy to reach, and hidden away from view.

Leave your power supply, mouse, and paperwork conveniently stored inside with the laptop for easy access. Works with 15.4-inch laptops-both widescreen and standard.

Working at a laptop on a couch gave me a painful muscle spasm in my back; my partner later got one in her neck from also using couch posture for work. When given the choice between liberty and desk, I'll take the latter.

Cake or desk, however....
