Hallelujah! I was one of those guys that bought the Airport Extreme because of the reported integration with Time Machine for set it and forget it data backup. When it turned out this was not the case and then Apple released the Time Capsule I thought that all hope was lost. Not so.

Latest SW and firmware updates are being confirmed by various people at The Unofficial Apple Weblog that wireless, automatic backups via Time Machine are now a reality. Time to pick up an external hard drive.
