A bag for bloggers? Well, anyone tied to a laptop, for work or play, could benefit from this setup, all in an organized, durable, and portable package. The Timbuk2 Blogger Bag comes with a built-in padded slot for a laptop, a compartment for an MP3 player in the inside main pocket (near the top so it'd be easy to plug in headphones), as well as slots for a cell phone, transit tickets, pens, and a key ring tether.
The padded strap helps spread out the weight of a computer and bag contents, and ballistic nylon is super durable. The bag retails for $80, which is, comparatively, on the lower end of Timbuk2's bags.
Drawbacks include limited colors and limited space: no wide-screen laptops here. Laptops no bigger than 15" can fit inside the bag, which is a shame, since everything else about it is stellar.
Okay, I just ordered last year's model from rei-outlet.com (it's $55 there and they're running a promotion for another 20% off any one item). It seems like it will be perfect for air travel, since it's such a pain in the butt to take out a laptop for security and put it back in many laptop bags. Also, I like that it's a vertical bag so I can ride the bus or El with it on my lap and not have it spilling over onto the passenger next to me.
