An air purifying light bulb? Only if you believe that ionic air purifiers are effective. Producing 60 watts of light, an integrated ionizer cleans the air around the bulb while lighting your room at the same time.
While I am all for clean air it just seems that this is a very inefficient way of doing it. If you are curious though and want to see for yourself, Amazon carries these bulbs for $14.99

does this air purifier generate ozone? I found some air purifiers generate no ozone. ex, AHAM certified air purifiers from airgle corp http://www.airgle.com
