Frog Design LED Bulb

2008_09_04 reinvented-bulb.jpgAt first glance, this looks just like a regular incandescent bulb. Take a longer look and you'll notice that it doesn't look quite right. The thin wire filament is not a wire at all. It is an LED.

We all know that LED's are more efficient and last longer. The best thing about this concept though is the package. The traditional look, no coiled bulbs to worry about, with all the energy saving benefits.

don't expect much output at all - the lumens aren't there yet - especially for only having one LED that I can tell. And the high power LEDs such as cree and ssc get very hot and need heatsinks for extended use.
