Karim Rashid Designed Veuve Globalight

unplggd041608Globalight1.jpgDoes Karim Rashid ever sleep? When the he's not designing fully immersive sleeping quarters, he's apparently busy glamming up the act of drinking champagne...

unplggd041608Globalight2.jpgThe Globalight is the result of a collaboration with premium champage maker, Veuve Clicquot, and the futuristic shaped holder operates as a portable cooler good for 2 hours of chill, while also producing a soft illumination to help you get to where you're going with that pricey bottle of bubbly. Since we neither drink nor have $4000 around to throw around, we'll just satisfy ourselves with the dreamy photos (it seems like it would make for a nice, albeit expensive, flower vase).
