LEGO Brick Lamp

080208_legolamp_01.jpg The Japanese store 25togo has designed these clever little desk lamps inspired by classic LEGO building blocks...

080208_legolamp_02.jpg The LED blocks feature a snap-off top layer that's designed to hold pens, pencils and other office items. Each brick measures in at approximately 6″ × 4″ × 2.4″, making them about 100 times larger than the standard LEGO brick.

080208_legolamp_03.jpg Although the store doesn't show multiple stacked lamps, there doesn't seem to be any reason why a bunch of them couldn't be interlocked to create illuminated sculptures.

Currently only available through 25togo's online store for ¥1600 ($15) each. via technabob

25togo.com seems to be a Taiwanese website, therefore, the price maybe NT$1600, or US$52.
