Scrap Lights and Sketch Lights by Graypants

Funny names aside, here are two new lamp designs from the guys that brought you scrapchairs. First, on the same kick of recycled cardboard light fixtures from earlier today, we bring you Scrap Lights. These beautiful pendant lamps are made from layers of corrugated cardboard, letting light from the bulb inside to glow outward. Next, Sketch Lights: Beautiful lampshades made from the designers' used sketch paper can be a lasting monument to your love of both recycling and good design.

According to the designers, the Scrap Lights instill "new spirit into salvaged pieces of corrugated cardboard, a scrap light’s lively play on light and shadow invigorates once lifeless materials."

Sketch Lights were inspired by the designers' needs to find a better home for old process drawings than overstuffed file drawers. Each sketch light is a unique handmade representation of the creative process.
