The Incandescent Light Bulb Reinterpreted in Metal

dear-edi.jpgIs this thing to scale? We assume not, unless designer David Abad designed this for the entry of Tate Modern in London. Brought down to a more practical size though, this interpretation of the incandescent bulb could be a cool pendant light.

Hanging over a kitchen island or even a desk, because it is made out of black anodized metal you don't get the glare of a naked bulb. Instead, a focused light source with an interesting visual reference.
