This under-the-stairs solution would be a perfect addition to our recent Best Staircase Storage Solutions list or a companion piece to the secret kitchen laundry room. It's definitely an efficient use of space, but we're not sure about the decor effect.

Well, to hide them properly, you'd have to hinge up some panels, which would restrict access. I wouldn't want to open a door to get to my fridge. However, I actually like this idea for people who are seriously lacking space. It's not the best look, but if your kitchen is a closet, then this is a good way to use under-stairway space.

I kind of like this, but there are ways to disguise it even more, really. Actually, it seems like the instructions to my fridge said that it needed some space around it to breathe, which this REALLY doesn't have. That wouldn't stop me from doing this if I wanted to, though.

This is a great idea, especially for a little house like mine, where I would die for a wider space. I am thinking to do the same now... just that I will have to wait first to buy another fridge. My old one doesn’t work very well. I tried to look for the right frigidaire parts to repair it.
