The Living Room LED was made by Brillidea, which sells components, such as LED drivers, for tinkering engineers. Three Ikea Billy bookcases were arranged along a wall, evenly spaced by about 10 inches. White corrugated plastic columns were installed between the bookcases, each featuring a 16-bit RGB LED driver connected to a master controller.
