Beautiful Apple iMac Desk Setups

We've noticed many of our friends who own iMacs tend to be of the highly organized and clean sort that arrange their desktops to match the minimalist monolith (well, not always). There's something about the form of the iMac that seems to deserve an clean and organized space around it...

Seems like the folks at techZilo noticed the same thing, as they've posted a top 10 best iMac setups via Flickr (where many of proud iMac owners post photos like they were children). We're especially loving the wood panel backdrop with the brushed aluminum iMac in front...they're making our dual Dell monitors look a bit frumpy.

SMH...Mac fans.....I could set an imac on a pile of horse crap and a bail of hay and you guys would classify it as an awesome setup....

Only if the pile of horse droppings was shaped into the Apple logo and the hay was hand picked by Jonathan Ive.

But seriously, I'd love to see more great PC cases and setups, so please send them in if you have 'em.

Macs and their users will always get short shrift from those who have bought into the marketing. It's only a computer, but one that brings out deep feelings for some odd reason; probably due to the same marketing. There's always someone who has to make a silly, snide comment about them. I always figured it was due to self-esteem issues brought on by said marketing, but it goes both ways.

That said, these are some pretty neat setups. I only wish my workload could afford such minimalism...
