Block Light: Lighting, One Piece at a Time

As a former Lego-maniac we've always held onto a deep seeded fondness for interlocking blocks of almost any kind. Partner this up with an interest for customization and DIY, and you'd be fair to assume we really like this admittedly kid-like lighting solution called the Block Light...

Each lamp is made up of 219 small, 16 medium, and 4 large interlocking blocks. Don't worry, they're all made of heat resistant plastic (but we'd recommend sticking to a low wattage bulb under 25 watts to keep it in the realm of safe). Is it as cool as the Lego Brick Lamp? Aesthetically no. Functionally and for fun, most definitely. A great idea for a gift for a cubicle bound friend.
