The limited edition Dyson DC16 (also known in some circles as “The Wind”) was designed by fashion icon, Issey Miyake, and in exchange Dyson tried their hand at fashion. It's certainly one different and eye catching vacuum design, but we're also bothered by the fact that like the rest of the Dyson line, all that extraneous plastic looks easy to break and nowhere as sexy in person. Still, if a hand vacuum ever looked more fun to combat dust with, we haven't seen it.

I have the pink version of this and the Dyson Animal upright and I have to say they are amazing! Definitely an investment, but worth the money.
The issues:
The hand-held gets heavy after a while and does not have a long run time before it needs a charge. So think of this as a small pick up, not a use to clean the whole house item.
Other than that it sucks up everything and is easy to empty/clean. Nothing broken on ours and we use it daily.
The upright also rocks and I can highly recommend Dyson products (no I don't work for them)

I have this handheld and here's my endorsement: It sucks flies out of the air. You have to have the aim for it, but I'm not kidding. I walked around one day just sucking them into the little canister. It was awesome. (yes, I'm a 13 year old boy inside.)

I don't have a Dyson hand vacuum, but I do have the Dyson (DC18) Slim. Our best household purchase made in 2008!
I use it fine to clean pretty much everything the handheld line can do I think, unless I'm missing something?
I'm wondering how well it will do when I try to vacuum my car this week.
