We have this brilliant Lego mod due to a serendipitous moment when Tveskov happened upon a 7-inch digital photoframe which more than resembled the screen from one of his favorite machines, the iMac G4. The former Lego brick set designer (yes, he's one of the reasons we can build cool spaceships with awesome new Lego pieces) got to thinkin' and laying down some little plastic bricks.
The arm at the back of the screen really swivels and the screen can display still images, play videos and show television through a built-in digital TV tuner.
Tveskov wanted to make the CD tray actually motor in and out of the base, but because (as you can expect) the digital frame is much heavier than a bunch of plastic bricks, he needed to allow for weights to balance in the base. We want to tell him that it's okay. This is still one of the most wicked Lego mods ever.
