Look! Biggest Subwoofer in the World

While the picture above looks more like a creatively shaped, unfinished basement, it is in fact a subwoofer...built into the floor underneath audiophile Roberto Delle Curti's custom home theater.

2008_07_18 sub in room.jpg 16 woofers provide the low end through 31 foot long tunnels that lead into the media room (he's standing in the subwoofer). We are just thankful that we don't live nearby. Ah, to be an audiophile...bet those cables cost a lot

Wow. That's really cool. I couldn't do that for fear of the neighbors, but if that kind of subwoofer system floats your boat and you love rumbling sounds, more power to ya.

And does it keep little rodents away?

Ok, that really is a thing of beauty.

I would never go to such lengths and I think it's silly that someone did but the geek in my is going "OMG, gorgeous!"

Stickyricemama, I bet if it doesn't the rodents pop when those things come on.
