Look! Black Friday Loot

2007-11-23pandigital.jpgWell, she did it. Unlike the majority of you, our editor Kate braved the cold Twin Cities air, pre-dawn darkness, and crazed shoppers to get a huge bargain on one Christmas gift (hopefully her dad isn't reading this!): a Pandigital 7" Digital Photo Frame with 128 MB built-in memory, sound, and remote control from JC Penny for $75. The super-sale price allowed her to make it a part of her Christmas gift budget (reg. price $120+).

Kate also scored some toddler-sized tech wear...check it out after the jump!

Were you brave and went out for the deals today, "Black Friday?"
Go ahead and brag about your shopping mojo--we want to hear all about the details of what you picked up and where you got it from. Let us know in the comments!

It's a little hard to tell (and really hard to photograph in action!), but this sweatshirt has an LED light set in the Lighting McQueen graphic that lights up when pressed--the closeup on the left shows 1 of the lights in action. Figures it was only a matter of time before the lights went from their shoes to their clothes, as well!

Though not very techie, I got a Maglite for $10 from Loew's (I think it's typicallyl $20-25). The best part is that I didn't even have to wake up early or brave any lines to get it. w00t!

my boyfriend and i got the $349 (or whatever it was) front-page-advertised laptop from staples and saved a whopping $400, plus got a free printer. i also replaced my cannon digital camera that broke two weeks ago and saved $50 while doing so plus got another free photo printer. and i got 60 sheets of free photo paper. and saved $30 on a $14.95 2 gb sd card for said camera. and i'm still tired from the excursion. but it was a fun experience!
