I love this, although not the price. I've seen other options, although not nearly as sleek, or intended for working. Most focus on easier eating in front of the TV.

Looking at that picture I was really excited. Then that price made my heart sink...there must be an alternative somewhere, maybe I'll just make my own.

Lee Valley sells the hardware for a DIY version of this.

J.C. Penney used to make a square coffee table that would rise to full height, and could be used as a game table. Maybe they still do. It had a slim hydraulic lift and a lever to operate it.

there are tons of coffee tables out there that does this. my friends parents had one like this, and i always loved it. yes this is a lot more sleek, but ridiculous at 4k.

Didn't look to see how much the kit was, but it would have to be cheap to be practical. Or i could just buy a not so good look one on there and convert it.

Am I just crazy, or isn't the price 400 EU, not 4000?

yeah, there are two different coffee tables there. The last two photos are of the one you linked to where it is listed at 250 EU, or about 330 USD.

You're right! Sorry. $330, totally doable.

I actually like the one in the first image better, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Doesn't matter; I'm not not in the market for a coffee table right now anyway.
