
Over the holiday, we had a little get away and stayed in a hotel with very traditional furnishings. There was a radio which didn't get many stations so we resorted to using our iPhone, which wasn't bad. However, when we put it on this old wooden cabinet the sound improved noticeably and when we put it inside it was even better...






That's a great discovery. Makes me wonder if a similar effect can be achieved within a hotel room empty & open clothes drawer.
Similarly, speaker and soundbar companies demonstrate their wares mounted to curved or angled displays to improve the in-store sound. But then buyers are puzzled when the product doesn't sound as full at home.
