Look! Obsolete Boombox Upgraded with iPod

070708_sz_waryipod.jpg Back in 1985 LL Cool J rapped about how he can't live without his radio. We think that if he were to reprise that song in the day and age of the iPod he'd want to have this boombox on his now buff shoulders.

Designed by Wary Meyers, the interior design duo from Portland, Maine, this boombox is so easy to make we're ashamed we don't have one blasting in our home office right now...

According to Linda Wary, "The iPod fit so perfectly in the cassette deck that we added Velcro and started rocking out." It's simply plugged into the boombox via a standard 3.5mm to RCA cable. You can see it here in the background of their painting studio. 070808_sz_waryipod.jpg

LOVE. IT.

I will be looking at yard sales, on eBay, in the classifieds, Craiglist...relatives' garages and attics...

I want.

The box is pitch-perfect! The decor looks great.

I want.
