Before we were gabbing away on our Swatch Twin phones, we were investing in tulle tutus trying to mimic the almighty Madonna circa "Like a Virgin" days, which brings us to why, oh why, we are so in love with this kid's media room.
Found in the New York home of Obedient Sons & Daughters designers Christina and Swaim Hutson, their daughter's room features all the things you'd normally find -- crib, toys, even a drum set -- but it also has a sweet flat screen. The room keeps from feeling like a serious media den through a stream of rainbow hued tulle skirts hanging from a pipe above.
After the jump one more shot of the kid's room, plus a look at how Christina and Swaim decorated the adult media room...
She needs some Punky Brewster on that telly!
We love how they used all the frames behind the TV to make the LCD look like a frame on the wall itself.

Years ago, a now-closed vintage store in San Diego County had a very interesting window display - colorful, frothy petticoats rather like those pictured, arranged with the frilly hems up in galvanized buckets like a florist's shop. It was so silly and so gorgeous at the same time.

Wow. I think this place looks like an utter disaster...
Admittedly I am kind of a neat freak, but those crooked picture frames are begging to be straightened! :)
And a flat screen in that young of a child's room? That is severely depressing to me...
