MIO Solar Lights at Target

Aaron over at AT New York posted about Target's new line of eco-conscious, sustainable designs for Target, and we noted that one of the products is a nicely designed solar lawn light which seems to buck the trend of fugly-looking sunlight powered lighting. We've purchased a couple of solar spot lights from Target, and we have to say we were surprised at how well they illuminated spot-lit areas. Unfortunately, the budget plastic housing broke and the unit stopped working. We hope these Mio lights prove to share their performance, but are built with sturdier construction...

While you wait for the new Target line to be released (available beginning April 12 at Target stores), you might want to check out Mio's own line of home products, including their unique desktop Trask lamp...a light we've both equally attracted to and repulsed by (it evokes both feelings, depending on the context of where we see it, sort of like certain super models).
