Neat and Tidy Video Game Controller Storage

080409xboxcontrols.jpgLos Angeles crafter and self-proclaimed nerd Anjali's gaming control storage solution is a smile-inviting setup comprised of an IKEA CD shelf which has been dubbed "The Hutch", making it a perfect spot to keep their myriad of controllers neatly kept when not in use. Topped off with a cute cross stitched design, it's very evident there are a couple of serious gamers in the house...

Anjali of Giant Jeans Parlor writes: Rob loves it, needless to say, and it has taken its place above our controller shelf, a repurposed IKEA CD shelf which has been dubbed "The Hutch." I set the shelf up in an attempt to organize Rob's gaming clutter (told you -- compulsive neat freak), and it has become the most commented-on piece of furniture in our apartment. Even better, Rob totally uses it! I think he likes admiring his myriad of gaming accessories, slumbering away in their little cubbies.

And if you like the cross stick pattern, check out the originating post where Anjali found inspiration from at The Domestic Scientist.

Although neat, this looks like a big waste of space. A drawer is 10x nicer and uses 10x less space.

All those controllers and only a few games? A drawer for the controllers; the shelves for the games.
