We spend so much time trying to hide all of our home gaming peripherals. What would happen if we embraced XBox controllers and Wii-motes as part of our lives once and for all?
Embrace your inner geek and stop trying to hide all of your video game peripherals.
These two homes we spotted on Flicr don't try to hide their XBox controllers or Wiimotes—they're proudly displayed on or near under the coffee table in the center of their media room.
Think about it—you're not worried about a remote control citting front and center on the table, so why would you stress about finding a dedicated home for the video game controllers? It's silly!
Instead, leave them out! Take a cue from these rooms and keep your remotes tidy on the table. Or, you could invest in a Wii-coozie: It keeps your Wiimotes in line without hiding them away from easy access.

We keep our xbox 360 controllers in a basket underneath the coffee table, since that's where they end up anyway. All the other remotes are in there too. Totally handy and keeps me from getting clutter freakouts!

We recently bought IKEA RAMVIK Coffee table and store all the remotes and other stuff in the drawers provided. Also there is ample space to put magazines under the table. So they are easily accessible and hidden from view.
