The Dark Knight—as an 8-bit Nintendo Game

011609_tf_tdk8bit.jpgNo lie, I've still got an old Sega Genesis up and running to play games on. Sure, the XBOX 360 is a fun console to play—and I don't need to tell you about the Wii I don't have that I desperately want—thanks to the many advances in hardware and game graphics that have been developed since then. But every once in awhile, I pop in the Sega and get way more out of playing Marble Madness, in all of it's crappy image quality and piercing bad soundtrack glory, than I do something like Grand Theft Auto. But I kinda wish that my game selection wasn't limited to those manufactured in 1992. Some current material, like maybe the blockbuster-smashing and award-winning The Dark Knight, would be great. But since my dream will never be a reality, I'll have to settle for watching YouTube video simulations (clip after the jump)...

Oh my, the music alone. XD
We never had game consoles here at home, but we did have a Commodore C-64 where a lot of time was spent playing -the very limited selection of- games. I remember a sort of Zorro-game. And Bubble-Bobble. Oh boy. I was almosted *addicted* to that game.
